I have always had the same problem. I am distracted easily when doing homework. For that reason, I always need to be in a distraction free area where I can relax and concentrate. So my advice to you is to experiment. Try different rooms and studying and relaxation techniques to figure out which ones help you study the best. Once you find your niche, studying will be a breeze and your grades will improve greatly.
RaúlDear Raúl, I want to buy my boyfriend a really nice Christmas present, but I also want to buy my BFF a really nice gift. I don’t have enough money for both. I can only choose ONE. Which do I choose!? From, Clearly Indecisive
Dear Clearly Indecisive,
You clearly care a lot about both your boyfriend and BFF so I don’t think you should have to choose between them. In my opinion, there are two ways you could handle it. First you could try and find creative ways to make extra money. I’m sure there are plenty of things your neighbors would be willing to pay you to do. The second option, and the one that I believe is best, is to not focus so much on the cost. Split the money, put half towards each gift, and then add thought. Buy a gift that will be special to them even if it doesn’t cost very much. A thoughtful gift is often times more meaningful than an expensive one.
RaúlDear Raúl, I set my alarm every day for 6:45 a.m. I never end up hearing it and sleep until 7:15. Then I am late to school and barely have time to eat breakfast. Do you have any tips for getting up and getting to school on time? Sincerely, Sleepy Senior
Dear Sleepy Senior,
The best way to get up earlier in the morning is to go to bed earlier. However, sometimes that can be difficult so my advice would be to set more than one alarm and make sure they are set at a high volume. When available, have your parents or someone else at home wake you up if you are not up by a certain time.
