Girl Code: Your Holiday Gift List
The holiday season is creeping up yet again! You may be turning to the variety of gift guides featured on basically every online store, magazine or news source for ideas about what to get your close friends this holiday season.
There are limitless possibilities when it comes to getting your friends gifts for the holiday season. Here are some ideas to help you figure it out!
You could always play it safe and get your closest friends a pair of fuzzy socks, some yummy candy, or a giftcard to their favorite store. These gifts are sure to be appreciated and can pretty much all be found in Rite Aid (located in Halls Corner) or a CVS.
If you are looking for something more creative, visit Etsy.com. They have a variety of personalizable necklaces. My personal favorites are the ‘Bar’ necklaces. You can inscribe a meaningful message, name, or symbol. The website offers the capability of inscribing almost any piece of jewelry.
If these options do not appeal to you try a subscription box. The Remedy Rush is a box full of seasonal spa products. Who would not love that? There is also the ‘Birch Box’. For around $10 a month you can get a subscription to a beauty box. Even the box itself it super cute.
Veering away from body products, the Cravory box is the next best. The Cravory offers a different assortment of cookies every month containing a dozen or half a dozen ready to eat cookies. Yum!
An idea that my friends and I love is Secret Santa. This ensures that everyone in your friend group will get a gift that they’ll enjoy. The only problem is that when people reveal who they have it ruins all the fun, but it never fails to be a good time!
Another great gift to give this year is a candle from Yankee Candle. They’re sure to fill the room with a splendid scent.
The sophomore class president, Caroline M., updated me on the class fundraiser which is through Yankee Candle. Murphy informed me that “The candle price is slightly higher which enables our sophomore class to receive 40% of the profits.”
The more money the fundraiser makes, the lower the sophomore class prom tickets will be. When checking out, don’t forget to enter the group’s code which is 990089135.
At the end of the day it is truly the thought that counts. No matter what you decide to gift your friends this year, make sure it comes from your heart. 🙂
