Trump Pulls of Upset for the Ages

Donald John Trump will be the 45th president of the United States, capping a historic and rambunctious run by an outsider who captured a loyal following across an America that was fed up with establishment politics, the news media and elected officials.

Tens of thousands of American’s have taken to the streets all across the United States following Trump’s presidential victory. With 2016’s presidential election finally over, ending with Trump coming out on top, controversy and debate has struck all across the country.

Clinton succeeded in Northern states and areas in the Southwest, where Trump dominated the South and middle portion of the country.

Hillary did end up actually winning the popular vote, and Trump winning the electoral vote. The popular vote is an act of voting by the electorate of a country or area. The electoral vote is a vote cast by a member of the Electoral College.

Some call it a miracle, and others call it a disaster, or the end of the world. Call it what you want Trump won and he’s already making promises.

Early Wednesday morning around 3:30 AM Donald Trump gave his victory speech following his triumphant victory. “We will begin the urgent task of rebuilding our nation and renewing the American dream,” he declared to a boisterous crowd of supporters. Trump also gave acknowledgment to the public service and campaign of his opponent Hillary Clinton who had “worked very hard for a long period of time.”

He wants for America to disguise its wounds and unite under his presidency and follow his lead “I pledge to every citizen that I will be president for all Americans, and this is so important to me.”

While the lengthy road of campaigning has quickly come to a halt, everything is really just beginning for Trump. Now all of those outrageous claims and his promises that he made must be put into action. It is now time to put up or shut up, we know Trump can talk the talk but it’s time for him to walk the walk.
