Boys: Last Tuesday in Whitman-Hanson, the Duxbury Boys cross country team’s best time on the 5,000 meters was 16:42, and Whitman-Hanson’s best time was 16:33.
Girls: The Girls Cross Country team went up against Hingham. Hingham beat Duxbury by 8, with a final score of 24-32.
See all results from the meet here. The next Cross Country meet is Friday 10/13. This will be a home event against Silver Lake that starts at 4:00pm.
Duxbury Football decimated the Silver Lake Lakers with a score of 61-7. They will play the Quincy Presidents at home this coming Friday in their homecoming game at 7:00pm.
Duxbury Field hockey won 5-0 over Plymouth North on 10/10. Their next game they will be facing Silver Lake on Thursday, 10/12. TOMORROW!
Duxbury Boys Golf beat Plymouth North 248-257. The next game is against Whitman-Hanson on Wednesday, October 11 at 3:30.
Duxbury Girls Volleyball has continued their winning streak after their sweep in last night’s game against Plymouth South. The final score was 3-0. On Tuesday, they played a close game against rival, Westborough. The girls persevered through for an enormous win! Senior, Rachel M, said this was the “Best game ever!” The final score was 3-2, and the score of the last set was 18-16.
Last Friday’s game against Pembroke qualified Duxvol for the Patriot league tournament. The girls’ current record is 12-0

Volleyball will play in Quincy on Thursday at 5:15 and at home on Friday at 5:30, against Joseph Case High School.
Girls: This weekend, the Duxbury Crew team had a great showing at the New England Junior/High School Regional Championship Regatta. Three of the four girls varsity 4-s placed in the top three in their events, which allowed these boats to medal in their respective categories. Junior Olivia E. said, “Everyone did really well” and “overall it was a good race.”
Boys: Two of the three boys varsity boats placed in the top three in the high school division, earning themselves medals. Senior Colin B. said, “It was a good race (because) almost everyone medaled and those who didn’t were very close.”
Next weekend, the team heads to Pembroke, New Hampshire to compete in the New Hampshire Championships. Check specific results of the regatta here.
Boys: Last week boys soccer added another W to their list, beating Plymouth North 4-1, on 10/4. They had their second tie, 2-2, playing Pembroke on 10/6. They also had their first loss of the season, 0-1, on 10/9 to Norwell. Their record is now 7-1-2, and they remain 12th in the league. Senior Jack B. said, “We played well. If we want to win the league, we need to close out some of our easier games, but overall we are looking good.”

Girls: Last week, Girls DuxSoc was a success with three wins over North Quincy, Plymouth North, and Pembroke. Junior Leah Y. had a standout week scoring in all 3 games. She broke the tie during the last minute of the game on 10/4 against Plymouth North. This past Monday the girls took home a tie against tough rival, Norwell.
